out of wine country into weed country

so we finally left broke. i have to say that it was a wonderful 2.5 weeks but it was time to go. i managed to gain 10 pounds because of all the wine and bread i ate. so back to the strict diet of pasta and sauce. hehe, strict diet. sam and i are now camping in byron bay. byron bay is a big surfer/hippie town, so not even being in our camp site for more that an hour the smell of weed came creeping over from the tent next to us. now, mind you, this is like extreme camping, everyone is on top of everyone else. we all know the amount of personal space you can get on the green line during a soxs game, right? well thats spacious compared to our new home for the next couple of days. but we are having a great time and loving the beach. we actually woke up at 4:30 this morning to catch the sunrise. who are we? who does that? it was fucking great. there were whales and dolphins, although i didnt see any dolphins, but ill believe them if they said there were.
